Emptiness

A longing of the heart
A reaching of the soul
To be linked with you
My only goal
An unknown guest
Has brought me here
But the lurking danger
Are much too clear
Depression and sadness
Wrack my brain
While away from you
There's nothing to gain
My quest is clear
But the goal's too far
For it'd take me too long
To find where you are
You are out of my reach
I have lost all hope
With constant thoughts of you
How will i cope?
I've lost most self-esteem
My confidence not quite there
But why can't you notice?
You just don't seem to care
